As of August 31, 2026, Arakotis officially opens its doors — and with it, a new LinkedIn page where we'll be sharing more of what's ahead. If you work in medical technology, you already know the usual story about what makes these ventures hard: the regulatory maze, the capital requirements, the technical complexity. All true. All real. But after years standing on both sides of the exam table — as a physician, and later as a biomedical engineer — our founder, Ahmed Ramadan, kept noticing something the industry doesn't talk about nearly enough.
The hardest part usually isn't the regulation. It's earlier than that. It's the space between having an idea worth pursuing and actually letting yourself attempt it — the overthinking, the what-ifs, the quiet fear of taking a step you can't take back. That gap doesn't show up in a feasibility study, but it's where more good ideas die than any FDA pathway ever will.
Arakotis is built around three kinds of people we want in our inbox:
Entrepreneurs and companies bringing a medical technology idea to market, at any stage — from a rough concept to a company already navigating regulatory strategy and clinical trials. Five engagement tiers mean there's a way in whether you need one working session or ongoing embedded support.
Students with an idea they're not sure what to do with yet. Special reduced rates and a free consultation exist specifically so cost is never the reason a promising idea never gets a second look. If you're the one with the dream — and you are — that's exactly who this firm is for.
Potential partners and collaborators — companies and entrepreneurs who see a mutually beneficial way of working together that goes beyond a standard consulting relationship. Every one of those conversations is negotiated directly, case by case, with the founder.
We're also launching on LinkedIn today — the fastest way to follow what Arakotis is building, and to reach out directly if you're a founder with something worth pursuing, a student with a question, or simply someone in the field who wants to connect. You can find the link in the footer of every page on this site.
Most first conversations are free. If any part of this sounds like you, the best next step is simply to start one.
