Arakotis LLC (“Arakotis,” “we,” “us”) operates this website, arakotis.com. This policy explains what information the site collects from visitors, how it's used, who it's shared with, and how you can ask us about or remove it. It applies to this website only — not to any separate agreement, engagement letter, or project work you may have with Arakotis, which is governed by the terms of that agreement.
If you use the contact form on this site, we collect the name, email address, and message you enter. That submission is handled by Netlify Forms, the service this site is hosted and built on, and is delivered to Arakotis by email.
If you book a call using the scheduling widget on the Book page, the booking is handled by Zoho Bookings, a separate scheduling service. Depending on what the booking flow asks for, that typically includes your name, email address, phone number, and the time you selected.
We use this information for exactly what you gave it to us for: responding to your message, or confirming and preparing for a scheduled call. We don't add you to a marketing list, and we don't sell or rent this information to anyone.
Like most websites, this one generates some information automatically just from being visited — this comes from our hosting provider (Netlify) and the services embedded on certain pages, not from anything Arakotis sets up itself:
This site does not use advertising cookies, analytics trackers, or third-party marketing pixels of its own.
We rely on a small number of outside services to run this site and to handle scheduling. Each is governed by its own privacy policy, which we'd encourage you to read if you want the full detail on how they individually handle data:
We keep contact form and booking information for as long as it's useful for the reason you sent it — generally, for the life of our conversation or engagement, plus a reasonable period afterward for our own records. If you'd like something deleted sooner, see “Your choices” below.
You can ask us at any time to tell you what information we have about you, correct it, or delete it. Email info@arakotis.com and we'll take care of it directly — there's no automated process to navigate.
If you'd rather not use the contact form or booking widget at all, you're welcome to reach out by phone or email instead, listed on the Contact page.
This site is not directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. The Students page is aimed at college and graduate students, not minors.
If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. We'd encourage checking back occasionally if you're curious, but we won't make changes that reduce your rights over information already collected without pointing it out clearly here.
